Dermaplaning is a procedure that physically exfoliates your skin and gets rid of dirt, dead cells, and vellus hair, better known as “peach fuzz.”
We utilize a sterile blade at a 45 degree angle and drag it slowly across your skin. This physical exfoliation removes dead cells and other debris that may be making your skin appear uneven and dull.
The results can vary for everyone, but realistically, you can expect to see a smoother skin and slightly brighter-looking skin after your dermaplaning appointment. In addition, because we’ve removing any and all of your dead skin cells, your Obagi skincare products will be better able to penetrate the skin when applied, making them more effective and thereby achieving faster desired results.
